On the Popularization Study of Marxism from the Perspective of Discourse Theory in Contemporary China
    Chen De-xiang
    2017, 51 (2):  5-15.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7498KB) ( )
To promote the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China, it is necessary to study the changes of context, discourse reform and paradigm transformation in the context of the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China. Chinese economic modernization has profoundly changed the historical context of contemporary Marxism popularization, causing the separation of the political discourse and academic discourse, the barriers between the official discourse and folk discourse, the conflict between China discourse and Western discourse etc.. We should adapt to the changes from the peoples livelihood discourse to the civil rights discourse, the integration of national discourse to the world discourse, and at the same time, to carry out the revolution of Marxism popularization paradigm. We must realize the paradigm transformation from the “form of indoctrination and mobilization”, “enlightenment” to “dialogue and consultation”, namely, the paradigm transformation from ideological education to ideological dialogue, from the value of identity to the identity of interests, from the protection of the rights to the implementation of rights, from political preaching to life integration.

On the Reconstruction of Marxs “Definition of Value” and Philosophy of Value
    Lu Pin-yue
    2017, 51 (2):  16-24.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7113KB) ( )
The value concept in the current value philosophy of our country regards Marxs works as the theoretical basis, which regards value as the relationship between material and people. It excludes the “value” in Das Capital out of the “philosophy of value”. This is a misinterpretation of Marxs works. We can rigorously prove that this is indeed the value concept criticized by Marx rather than the value concept of Marx himself. The value of the study of philosophy and social science is the value of social relations, it is carried by the material and make the material socialized, which forms the value link of the relationship between people. The labor value concept in Das Capital is the basis of the value world as a whole and on the basis of which the ethical value (including ethical value, legal value, political value), aesthetic value are formed. The  process of social and historical is the process of production of the value world.

Reflection on the Relationship between Confucianism and Modernity from the Perspective of Globalization
    Zhu Guang-lei
    2017, 51 (2):  25-32.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5820KB) ( )
The essence of western cultural modernity is the rational spirit. Western culture originates from the Greek spirit with rational and the Hebrew spirit with irrational by God. In the Middle Ages, irrational by God occupied the main position, and after the Renaissance, rational occupied the main position. Confucianism needs to deal with two issues when encountering modernity. One is that irrational by intuition develop the rational. The other is that the relationship between rationality and non rationality should be rearranged. Only in this sense can Confucianism conduct dialogues with western modernity without losing its purpose. At the same time it can make a Confucian explanation and put forward some suggestions to western modernity.

The Formation and Delocalization of Global Circulation Network——A Perspective of Space Production#br#
    Song Xian-ping1, Tao J-ikun2
    2017, 51 (2):  33-41.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (6555KB) ( )
The “Neoliberal retail puzzle” originates from the global space production of multinational circulation enterprises. With the expansion of sales and unified procurement through heterogeneous space, multinational circulation enterprises accelerate resource integration and spatial expansion in the global market, and form a global circulation network. The global circulation network in space dearly shows a tendency of “delocalization” and the delocalization reflects the integration process of the global space in which the building of global circulation network is the main body, together with the integration of space superiority, allocation of global resources, reduction of production cost . The lowend delocalization has constantly become a path dependence, which leads to the highly degree and special attachment of the enterprises in developing countries to the multinational circulation enterprises.

The Theory and Practice Value of The Communist Manifesto Preface——A Research on the History of the Preface Translation
    Yang Zhe
    2017, 51 (2):  51-57.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5488KB) ( )
Since the seven prefaces of The Communist Manifesto was introduced in China in 1903, it experienced translation process from fragmentation to the compiling of the official interpretation and with the whole text included. The position of the text of the preface, the relationship between the preface and the text has witnessed several changes in this process. Before 1948, the preface was weakly associated with the text. Since then the preface is mainly interpreted as the subsidiary text of the text, which has expanded the theoretical value of criticizing, supplementing and developing the text. This paper combs and examines these changes and presents the generative path of the preface theory, as well as constructing the independence of text of the preface to explore the new method of interpreting the preface.

    2017, 51 (2):  58-68.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7990KB) ( )
The frontier is a dynamic concept generated with the comparison of national historic core and frontier governance reflects more of the exclusive and closed thinking. Through the contrast of the concept and connotation of frontier and border space, we can analyze the similarities and differences between two kinds of spatial concept governance logic in dealing with crossborder issues. the means of border governance in the perspective of traditional ethnic issues are not enough in dealing with the crossborder issues.  The border governance under the concept of global governance has the demand and value of independent research and we should separate it from the frontier governance make further research on the dynamic balance of the opening up and security in the border area. From the point of view of global governance we should consider the need of multilateral governance of the multisubject participation to seek the topic construction of border governance.

The Dilemma of the Political Thinking of Frontier Governance and Its Countermeasures in the Era of Globalization#br#
    Cao Ya-bin
    2017, 51 (2):  69-78.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7062KB) ( )
In the political context of modernity, the term “borderland” contains three aspects: singleness, being overcome and closeness. This kind of thinking is not only a reflection of modern politics, but also a good way to analyze and solve various frontier problems in modern politics. However, in the era of globalization, the term “frontier” can neither reasonably sum up all kinds of political situations in the new era, nor can it deduce the effective solutions to the problems related to the borderland in the era of globalization. Based on this we need to introduce a new concept of border to analyze the new political phenomena emerging around the boundaries of our country in the era of globalization. On the one hand, the border is a national boundary as the most obvious geographical region, on the other hand, it is a social heterogeneous region characterized by a variety of crossborder interactions.

On the Strategic Fulcrum Role of the Frontier for the “One Belt,One Road ” Initiative
    Yao Lu, Ouyang-Haoyue
    2017, 51 (2):  79-85.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5130KB) ( )
The border has long been at the end of the national development strategy. In the push of “One Belt,One Road ”strategy, the border has witnessed the changes from closed to opening up, from static to dynamic, from the inside to the extension. Border has played a unique role in the fields of leading contacts, the integration of strength, connection of all ways and strategic identity. It has become a strategic fulcrum leveraging the grand strategy of “One Belt,One Road”. However, the borders own defects, lack of national strategic considerations and inherent barriers to security, are still the main constraints for the border to play a fulcrum role. At the same time the advance of “One Belt,One Road” strategy will react to the border remodeling and put forward new requirements for the development of the border.

The Cynicism Tendency and Countermeasures of the Youth Subculture in Micro Era
    Tang Ping-qiu1, Li Yong-tu2
    2017, 51 (2):  94-99.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (4946KB) ( )
The advent of micro era has greatly changed the generation and existence environment of youth subculture. Under the background of new era the youth subculture, together with the cynicism tendency such as “doubt without principle”, “cynical without protest” and “false with consciousness”, has spread rapidly. This tendency has expanded from the edge of the region to the center and has brought about the negative impact of the expansion of social distrust, escalation of social conflict. In the face of these negative effects, we need to promote theoretical innovation and strengthen problem consciousness, strengthen social mentality cultivation and the construction of social psychology, and deal with these aspects by strengthening the cultivation of socialist core values, so as to enhance the quality of public space of the youth network and transfer positive energy in the internet space.

State Sovereignty and International Intervention: A Study Based on Norms
    Zhao Yang
    2017, 51 (2):  100-109.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7396KB) ( )
Norm is one of the main focuses of Constructivist International Relations. Constructivism mainly pays attention to the process of norm spread, internalization and localization and considers that norms have shaped the identities and interests of actors. In contemporary international relations, state sovereignty and international intervention can be regarded as a pair of symbiotic norms, because they exist interdependently. The changing understanding of state sovereignty also promotes the development of international intervention, especially the emergence of the concept of “responsibility to protect”. Meanwhile, the existence of norms is based on legitimacy, which means that they must be accepted universally by the international community. This paper thus analyses the relationship between state sovereignty and international intervention, and argues that intervention still needs to be carried out in the framework of sovereignty.
