The issue of localization of Marxism in China is related to Marxist theory,history and socialism.Thus it involves various disciplines in philosophy and social sciences,covering all the theories and activities of the Chinese communists.In recent years,the study of localization of Marxism in China has drawn much attention in the academic circle,resulting in many heated discussions.However,consensuses have not been reached on certain major theoretical issues,and more profound studies are needed to further probe into these theoretical problems for accurate understanding.These issues are as follows: the theoretical premise of localization of Marxism in China,definition and connotation of localization of Marxism in China,the relationship between localization of Marxism and promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture,fundamental problems and experiences of localization of Marxism in China,inheriting and developing the good tradition of localizing Marxism,the relationship of the "two 30-year periods" after the founding of new China,validation of the evaluation of the historical position of Mao Zedong thought as explained in the "Resolution",emancipation of the mind and theoretical innovation,and localization of Marxism in China with respect to ideological and political education in Chinese universities.
