On Engels’s Theories of Capitalism and Strategies against It in His Late Years
    ZHUANG Fu-ling
    2007, (7):  5-9.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (935KB) ( )
The paper holds that Engels had adhered to Marxism right into his late years.Engels insisted that theories should develop along with the time and be upgraded in line with the progress of the society. He noticed the changes undergone in the capitalist society and the emergence of monopolistic organizations such as the stock companies and exchanges. But he claimed that this did not mean the capitalists had surrendered to justice and benevolence. The capitalists did change their strategies in exploitation, their level of business ethics was raised and their relation with the working class was improved. But, Engels reasoned, all these changes were only meant to gain greater profits.Engels also offered scientific analyses of the legal struggles of the working class in their efforts to seek democracy and strive for universal suffrage. He admitted that the capitalist Congress had played a positive role to a certain degree in providing forums, exposing the oppositions and winning over more people. On the other hand,he was strongly against absolute legalization of the struggle, and denounced the attempt to twist the facts and describe him as an admirer of peace lover and law-abiding citizen.

Proper Understanding of Marx’s Economic Theories and Development of Capitalism
    QIU Hai-ping
    2007, (7):  10-16.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1774KB) ( )
Marxist economics is a set of theories about development of capitalism. The course of development of capitalism in about a hundred years has proved some of the claims and analysis of Marx about capitalism. The fact that changes in modern capitalism has not caused fundamental changes in the capitalist production mode implies that the economic principles exposed by Marx still function. The author holds that Marx’s predictions that capitalism was declining when he discussed the historical trend of capitalist development and the"theory about abolition of capitalism"he raised in analysis of the capitalist nature of holdings company had pointed to two different issues. Therefore, the author argues that no conflicting ideas exist between these propositions.

    ZHANG Xin
    2007, (7):  17-22.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1164KB) ( )
Engel’s idea of communism is based on his scientific investigation into the capitalist society and his understanding of the principles of development of human society. This has been proved to be a scientific system of theory by the revolutionary experience of the proletarians. In his late years,Engels did not give up the basic principles of Marxism or the goal to realize communism, nor did he give up the idea of violent revolution. He was a communist to the end,not a democratic socialist.

On Causes for and Solutions to Imbalanced Distribution of Income in China
    CHEN Xiang-guang
    2007, (7):  29-35.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (563KB) ( )
The preliminary distribution of income under market economy is directly related to the distribution of production conditions. This distribution of production conditions refers to not only the shares among members of a society, but also those among different departments. Thus, fair distribution of income depends on fair distribution of production conditions in these two respects. The author claims that it is in these two aspects that the cause for unfair distribution of income in China lies.In order to solve the problem of a large gap in income and unfair income distribution,it is necessary that the problem of unfair distribution of production conditions be solved first before a fair foundation of income distribution can be established.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1523KB) ( )
As the original existence of human beings, the social activity of material production is profoundly related to the manner of existence of individual life and the outspread of social history. In addition,as the dominant production system of capitalism, producerism is regarded as the contemporary truth of production without being questioned. However,on the basis of presupposition of fabricated metaphysics and the immanency of capital logic, acquisitiveness and immorality, producerism has led the contemporary people towards a colonized life world. Therefore, transcendence of producerism requires the philosophical guidance and value traction of production justice

A Preliminary Study of Establishing a Theoretical Framework for the Chinese International Politics from the Perspective of Ontology
    ZHAO Wei-min
    2007, (7):  79-85.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1106KB) ( )
A research agenda of the international political ontology in the Chinese academic circle has been taking shape during the development of the Chinese schools of IP theories. In this agenda are a series of insightful arguments.Among these is the claim that theoretical framework of the Chinese international political theories should be based on ontology and major theoretical breakthroughs. In the light of this analysis, the paper attempts to discuss the essential connotation of a Chinese IP theory. The author holds that connotation of the international political ontology lies in its nature and the rules. An elaboration of its nature and rules can cover such components of the framework like the "what","why" and "how" of issues. In other words, the essence and theoretical framework share many things in common.Ontology will eventually lead to construction of the theory. With the approach of exploring ontology to theoretical development the paper offers some preliminary ideas for construction of the oriental theoretical framework.

Innovation in Theories and Practice of Internalizing Ideals and Beliefs
    QIU Ji, SUN Shu-ping
    2007, (7):  86-91.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1030KB) ( )
Internalization of ideals and beliefs is not only an important component of ideological and political education, but it is an important goal of it.During this process, both the individual needs for success and the needs of social development are to be attended to.To achieve this end, various factors and sources are to be integrated to establish an optimal environment guided by the scientific concept of development. Moreover,we should also observe the general principles of education and provide innovative opportunities to experience and practice. The absence of any one of these aspects will negatively affect the result,or even break down the internalization process.
