A Preliminary Study of the Original Occurrence of Publicity YAN Hui 2007, (4):  6-12.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (1056KB) ( )   There are two basic paths of original occurrence of publicity,the systemic base and the generative base.The former discusses why publicity becomes an issue,that is,the question of evidence,while the latter discusses how publicity becomes possible,that is,the question of environment and conditions.Examining from the perspective of systemic base,publicity stems from the one-sidedness and non self-sufficiency.Within the framework of generative base,on the other hand,publicity is expressed by "surplus cooperation" through exchange and interaction.In fact,the generative base of publicity is a form of historical elaboration of the systemic base,which consists of mechanical and organic ways.Under circumstances of increasingly widespread and profound historical interaction in the world,publicity is bound to become an important research area for ethics and political philosophy. Modern Public Domain: the Alleochemicals level of Civil Society WANG Xin-sheng 2007, (4):  12-18.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (1093KB) ( )   The civil society is not merely an economic body,but a multi-hierarchical social body that consists of complicated interactive relations,the modern public domain being one of the hierarchies.The public domain has developed on the basis of the marketing exchange system,thus to the original levels it is relatively secondary.Secondary as it may be,the public domain plays a critical role in the healthy development of the market economy.It presents social spaces for consensus in a productive society and offers room for making social regulations.The public spirit it creates breaks the limitations of the principle of social contract,which contributes to the self-repair competency of the civil society. On Four Typical Dimensions of Publicity SHEN Xiang-ping 2007, (4):  18-23.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (1104KB) ( )   The issue of publicity can be considered as a result of reflections on modernity and its consequence for further understanding.In view of the current situation,publicity is definitely plural and multi-leveled.Therefore,it is necessary to give a three-dimensional analysis of publicity by referring to its ideal types.Four typical dimensions of publicity are identified in this paper.They are the dimension within the nation-state structure,the inter nation-state dimension,the dimension among individuals across the states,and the man-nature dimension.The author concludes that integration of the four dimensions requires a historical process.
