    AN Qi-nian
    2006, (11):  20-27.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1546KB) ( )
The establishment of the dialectic materialism and historical materialism has resulted from the debates over socialist theories and socialist reform in the USSR after the October Revolution, and Mitin and Stalin played a decisive role in this process. The essence of this system is to raise the sense of science and technology. The author points out that while the underlying principle of this system is not obsolete even today, many important philosophical ideas of Marx and Engels are not included in it.Therefore,in order to build a harmonious society,it is an urgent task for us to reestablish the system of Marxist philosophy.

On International Cooperation Theory of Neorealism
    XIA An-ling, HUANG Zhen
    2006, (11):  43-49.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1629KB) ( )
Neorealism has been regarded to be antagonist with cooperation because of its emphasis on anarchical logic and relative gains, which,I think,is a misunderstanding about Neorealism.Quite different from Classical Realism,Neorealism begins to highlight "lower politics" and cooperation issue. All of the three outstanding representatives of Neorealism——Waltz、Gilpin and Mearsheimer have their cooperation ideas.Basis on such ideas, the author summarizes them as "Powers Cooperation Theory","Hegemonic Cooperation Theory",and "Balance of Power Cooperation Theory" respectively;in addition to that, this paper also analyzes the sameness and disagreements among them.At last, the author initiates that China,as a power, should have its own cooperation theory——"Pluralist Cooperation Theory",but, this idea essentially reflects power politics and balance of power as well,so in order to establish the most appropriate and invaluable cooperation theory,we have to perfect it.

A Historical Analysis of the Sense of Mission among the Late Qing Dynasty Thinkers Aimed at Revival of China
    ZHENG Da-hua
    2006, (11):  63-69.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2282KB) ( )
The slogan of reviving China was initiated by Sun Yisen.Nontheless, since the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns, all the progressive and patriotic thinkers expressed a strong desire to revive China and considered it their own mission.Unfortunately, the academic circle has failed to pay due attention to analyze this sense of mission among the late Qing Dynasty thinkers. The author holds that the sense of mission among these thinkers was rooted in their concern about the future of the state and the life of the people, their strong sense of national pride, and their national confidence. And this sense of mission was expressed through the active part they played in patriotic activities to save China, through their efforts to seek for the truth in the west, and through their participation in the social reform and revolution.
