    Choice by History:Strategic Adjustment in China’s Foreign Affairs Policy in the Past 50 Years

    According to this article there have been four strategic adjustments in China’s foreign affairs policy.1,the choice of one-sidedness"occurring in the 50s when the People’s Republic of China was first founded.It was the logical outcome of development in foreign affairs theories of the leaders of new China and of international situation then;2,the choice of "using both fists" developed between the late 50s and the early 60s.This had resulted from the harsh circumstances of China being at tacked from both sides.It was with certain signs of the "leftist"trend,though; 3,the "one-front policy"in the 70s in response to the complicated situation of threats from the Soviet Union and improved relationship with the United States;and 4,the independent strategic decision of nonalignment in its "true sense"in the 80s when China resorted to establishing strategic partnership with big powers and regions in the world which had been commonpractice since the start of the Cold War.

    Scientific Methodology and Scientific Movement of Thoughts in Modern China

    This article at tempts to describe the trend of scientific methodology and scientific movement of thoughts in modern China.It maintains that Yan Fu was the man who introduced the Western theories of methodology and principles of positivism,while Wang Guowei in terpreted the positivistideas and becameaw are of the connection between contemporary positivism and the down-to-earth methodology,laying emphasis on combination of them in seeking historic evidence.Hu Shi’s theory of methodology,on the other hand,includes those of the Western experimental science and principles of pragmatics,aiming at relating these two sets of theories to principles of the down-to-earth learning of Qing Dynasty in the light of general methodology.The blending of contemporary scientific methodology with traditional methodology reflects the tendency of the enlargement of scientific territory and the rising position of science.

    A Comparative Study of Marxist Economics and Contemporary Property Rights Economics in the West

    The author holds that the basic methodology of Marxist economics are dialectical materialism and historical materialism.The philosophical basis of Western modern property right economics,on the other hand,is composed of individualism,utilit arianism and liberalism despitethe heavy influence of various schools of traditional and modern philosophy as well as efforts thathave been made to update its basic met hodology,The construction of methodology of Marxist economics is actually application of dialectical materialism and historical materialism.Marxre-ferred to his own methodology as one of analysis,that is,analysis of contradictions.However,with the impact of perjury the West ernmodern property right economics mainly folows the deductive method with at heoretical framework of deductive logic,asserting that its theory is of apositive system with positive analytical method,so as to emphasize that its theory is sound and of positivism.This a characteristic of Western modern property right economics.

    This article offers a detailed description with comments of the theory of the world as a system by Wallerstein,an economist in the Western new Marxist economics.The author looks atthe world as a system ilustrated by a scheme of central semimarginal marginal,the changesof which are periodical.In this system,interests of various social classes should be considered inrelation to the world as a whole.The prospective of the world is unquestionably realization of socialism.Wallerstein's theory suggests a new approach to analyzing the relationship between thedeveloped and the developing,which is an important contribution to economic theories of development and attachment in the West Wallerstein strongly criticizes the Western centralism and hisviews may shedlight on understanding of the political,economic and cultural development incapitalist countries.
