    Three Aspects of Contemporary Ideology
    Shen Jiang-ping
    2016, 50 (8):  5-12.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5505KB) ( )

The word “ideology” has experienced tortuous development. It is conceptualized, politicized  deified and even demonized. In the globalization in which the two systems are converging today, the argument of “ideology” is constantly confusing peoples minds. Philosophers tend to have the ultimate concern for the true meaning of ideology, and anthropologists focus on the cultural implication of ideology. Political scholars are more willing to study the effect of social mobilization of ideology. The critique of philosophy is the clarification of the theory, while the public diplomacy is the presentation of the ideology in the foreign policy. How to grasp the real face of ideology in the present is not only a theoretical clarification of the problem, but also is related to the question whether the guiding ideology can effectively play its value functions in practice.

    Marxs Concept of Wage Minimum
    Xie Fu-sheng,Chen Rui-lin
    2016, 50 (8):  13-22.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (6896KB) ( )

Surrounding Marxs Theory of Wage, there exists extensive debates and some deeprooted misunderstanding in the academic arena. A review of Marxs writings throughout his life has shown that his theory of wage undertook some substantial changes in his later works. Influenced by the Subsistence Theory of Wage proposed by classical economists, Marx failed to make coherent distinctions between several key concepts in his early writings, including labor versus labor power, and wage versus minimum wage. It was not until the first edition of Das Kapital did Marx manage to develop his own mature theory of wage and propose within the theory a relatively independent concept of wage minimum. This fundamental change successfully distinguishes Marxs theory of wage from his classical predecessors and helps to resolve the longstanding confusion raised by an indiscriminate treatment of wage and minimum/subsistent wage. In line with his Working Day theory, Marxs concept of wage minimum is based upon the peculiarity of labor power as a commodity, and provides a theoretical foundation for the establishment of national minimum wage policies.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (6545KB) ( )

Marx and Engels thoughts on“planned social production” is an important part of its scientific socialism, and its formation is mainly based on two aspects:first, the critical inheritance to rational core of utopian socialism;second, the logical inference to the capitalist mode of production and its consequences.Marx and Engels repeatedly discussed the ideological connotations of using a planned social production in place of anarchy of capitalist production in the future of society, including the necessities, the possibilities and advantages for its implementation.20th centurys realistic socialist countries were basically born in the backward countries, although the practice of their planned economy arising from Marx and Engels, but had presented some differences between it and Marx and Engelss original theoretical assumptions. The study of the theory and practices dual dimension to Marx and Engels thoughts on“planned social production” provide valuable inspiration for us to reflect on how to deal with their doctrine, how to treat the traditional planned economy, and how to handle the relationship between planning and the socialist market economy.

#br# An Analysis of the Political Economy of the ExcessProfits of Transnational Corporations——The Combined Effects of Labor Productivity Differences and the International Differences of Labor Value
    Bai Bao-li, Wang Zhi-qiang
    2016, 50 (8):  32-38.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5608KB) ( )

The theory of political economy is used to analyze the excess profit in this paper. The paper points out that the differences in labor productivity and labor value will form different combinations. Whether the multinational enterprises can obtain the excess profit depends on the combined effect of the difference of labor productivity and the international difference of labor value. Multinational enterprises in developing countries produce goods only to obtain negative excess profits in developed countries. As of the goods produced in developing countries, if the enterprise difference of the labor productivity is less than the international difference of the labor force value, the excess profit can be obtained.

On the “Integration and Duality” Paradigm inthe Ideological and Political Education——Also on Thinking Transformation from “Dualism” to “Duality” in the Ideological and Political Education
    Chen Bing-gong
    2016, 50 (8):  50-58.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (7582KB) ( )

The ideological and political education should advocate the “integration of duality” paradigm. “Integration” means that the ontology of ideological and political education is a unified organic whole. “Duality” means that ideological and political education includes two basic aspects, which are the social development and human development. They are interrelated, mutual restraint, mutual transformative and indispensable. We should not separate these two aspects. If the ideological and political education is out of the need of people, it is empty. If it is out of the social need, it is blind. Only by adhering to the “duality of integration” paradigm, can we reach the new world of the ideological and political education and achieve good results.

On the Appearance Logic of Marxism in the Early Twentieth Century——A Study on the Process of “Science” Replacing “Gezhi (Investigating and Extending)”Discourse as the Center
    Yang Lin, Zhou Quan-hua
    2016, 50 (8):  76-82.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (5082KB) ( )

Discourse is the cohesion of the thought. The modern transformation of “science” discourse hides the logic of Marxism appearance at the beginning of the twentieth century, and also the cultural psychology that Marxism had been accepted by people.  With the introduction of modern western scientific thoughts and the rise of Chinese traditional thought, Marxism appearance was actually due to the change of historical context in China to construct the historical process. Investigating with the process of the “science” discourse replacing the “Gezhi” discourse as the center, the appearance of Marxism has three dimensions in culture perspective: historical context, appearance routes and appearance form. Among them, the reform of traditional “Gezhi” discourse and the modern transformation of science discourse served as the historical context and appearance routes of Marxism, which jointly constitute the appearance mechanism and micro logic of Marxsim. In the science context of China, Marxism has become the ideology of modern Chinese science.

Maybe through reanalyzing this comment of Heidegger and comparing the attitudes and views of Marx and Heidegger on nihilism,we finally could find out that although these two thinkers seem to proceed in totally different ways,a resolution of overcoming the nihilism in their different ways would be revealed in the very end.
