Can Abe's Economic Stimulus Plan Bring Japan Out of Deflation Quagmire? Evaluation of the Effect of Economic Policy Based on Abenomics WANG Zhi-Gang, ZHOU Yong-Gang, QIAN Cheng-Ji 2014, 48 (3):  12-20.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (6993KB) ( )   To deal with the impact of the financial crisis effectively and alleviate the downturn of Japanese economic, Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe launched a series of aggressive economic stimulus policy in 2013, which is known as the “Abenomics”. Starting from the background of the birth of Abenomics, this paper focuses on the basic content and measures of Abes policy. The paper analyzes and comments the policy effect of Abenomics from eight aspects including Japanese national life, exchange rate, stock price, interest rate, residents income. The result shows that Abenomics have strongly boosted Japanese economy in short term. But its negative effects also began to appear.
