    2014, 48 (1):  87-94.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1745KB) ( )
Utopia is a very important aspect of Harveys spatial critical theory This aspect has directed the reality approach to spaces to a venture into the future ideological realization of spaces Utopia and “production of spaces” have dialectical relationships on many dimensions The pursuit of Utopia is hidden in the production of spaces and the practice of Utopia should also stick to the spatial structure in reality “Utopia in space shapes” and “Utopia in social process” represent two different vectors of experiment researchers have conducted on realizing the state of Utopia, demonstrating a rotational attention that researchers have on spatial conditions and historical course when establishing Utopia “dialectical spacetime Utopia” is focusing on mixing the spacetime dimension into the construction of Utopia, which is a critical reconstruction of two outstanding theories Based on modern historical and geographic condition, one possible experiment of Utopia should focus on the Utopian criticism, Utopian imagination and modernity of Utopian dreams

Triple Criticism and Ontological Implication of Ecological Marxism
    LIU Hua-Chu
    2014, 48 (1):  102-108.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1543KB) ( )
Ecological Marxism connects the environment problem and the social system of capital pursuing maximal interest by regarding the reasonability between human and natural environment or the problem of overdraft of human from nature as the core matter of modern social criticism, and seriously criticizes the modern social phenomenon such as overproduction and overconsumption which result into ecological crisis and human alienation. Such a modern criticism absorbs the postmodernism, and tries to reconstruct economic reason and ecological reason so to utilize them healthily. Because it envisions the production of capitalism and business spirit from the viewpoint of social historical wholeness, it implies existential significance exceeding the value of natural ecology. Therefore its proposal and reflects upon modern society provide us advantageous guidance for our current socialist construction of ecological civilization.
