Critical Implications of Marxist Philosophical Materialism YANG Hai-feng 2003, (12):  35-39.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (866KB) ( )   Philosophical materialism by Marx is not only scientific analysis of social historical life, but also criticism of the course of social life. As a matter of fact, Marx’ criticism of old materialism has made his theory of materialism conform to dialectics, adding critical implications to materialism, and thus distinguishing his theory of criticism from that of ethical criticism. In this sense, the author concludes, regarding Marxist philosophy as metaphysic in order to gain new intensity of criticism has been the result of misinterpretation of Marxist philosophical materialism.
