On Nature and Essence of Marxist Economics ZHANG Yu 2002, (11):  16-21.  DOI: Abstract ( )   PDF (905KB) ( )   Historical Materialism is the essence of Marxist economics and it is just this concept that makes Marxist economics stands out from other economic schools.The historical materialist world outlook,or methodology,is expressed in principles and theoretical features at three levels that compose the theoretical framework of Marxist economics.They are the general methodology or principles,the special methodology or principles,and the individual methodology or principles.Each level represents different aspects of historical materialist ways of thinking,reflecting the nature and essence of Marxist economics,while as a comprehensive model they distinguish Marxist economics from other economic schools.
