Industrial structure refers to the production relationship and proportion of industries formed in the course of extended reproduction. Investigations of transformation of industrial structure in major developed capitalist countries revealed a service oriented tendency in economic development. This tendency, the author points out, has resulted from progress in science and technology, advancement in economic development, and changes in social and consumer requirements as well. It has indeed exercised heavy influence on economic relations in capitalist countries.

    Internal Contradictions of Globalization
    ZHOU Wei-hua
    2002, (9):  23-29.  DOI:
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1334KB) ( )
Globalization is the inevitable result of the dynamic movement of productive mode. While it enhances economic development and social progress, it also gives rise to a series of internal contradictions in economy, politics and culture, and some of them seem impossible to overcome. In a world where capitalism dominates politics, economy and culture, not only the existing basic contradictions are getting intensified, but some insolvable new contradictions have arisen. For instance, contradictions between multinational corporation and national sovereignty, between multinational corporation’s pursuit for profits and various countries’ demand for fairness, between publicity and copy right of knowledge, between homogeneity and heterogeneity of culture, to name only a few. These internal contradictions have paved the way for union of the proletarians all over the world, leading to the social transformation from capitalist society to socialist society.

The 21st century is the age of cyber in which the Internet brings about not only tremendous benefits to man but also various crises and threats. Thus, cyber security becomes an increasingly important global and strategic issue and poses severe challenge to national security. In this sense, how to maintain national security under circumstances of the cyber age is a problem that concerns every country in the world. As a major developing country China need to establish a defense system of cyber security in order to fight against hegemonism and maintain her own national security.
