On the Source of Independence of the Discipline of Ideological and Political Education

Abstract: Since the establishment of the discipline of ideological and political education, there have always been certain implicit or explicit doubts about the independence and values of the discipline. This is related not only to the self-identity of scholars in ideological and political education, but also to the public's evaluation of the discipline. To respond to these doubts theoretically is the basic requirement for the construction and development of the discipline of ideological and political education. The discipline of ideological and political education is indispensable; it has its own independent existence and unique values, and its objects, foundation, systems, and values are all unique and irreplaceable.

摘要: 思想政治教育学科设立以来,一直存在着某种或隐或现的对该学科独立性及其价值的疑惑甚至质疑。这既关系到思想政治教育学者的自我认同,也关系到社会公众对思想政治教育学科的评价。从学理上解答这种疑惑,是思想政治教育学科建设和发展的基本要求。思想政治教育学科不是可有可无的,它有其自身的独立性存在和独特性价值,它的学科对象、学科基础、学科地位、学科体系、学科价值,都是独特而不可替代的。
