Abstract: Political socialization is an important issue in the research of political culture After 30 years of development, the research on political socialization in China has witnessed the experience from translating western theory to localizing the research problems, and the research achievement has gradually increased This paper retrospects the academic history of political socialization research in mainland China by literature analysis, analyzes its context, and sorts out the current research topics and perspectives On this basis, the paper has summarized the basic characteristics of domestic political socialization study and has given a look at its development trend: to expand the research subjects, widen the research contents, and develop the research methods
