摘要： 当代中国农民问题主要是利益问题,流动问题,以及素质问题。这些问题影响着中国农民的现代化发展。利益问题是基础。流动产生新的质素,成为农民变革的动力。传播、教育是提高农民素质的重要手段。

Abstract: Major issues of the Chinese peasants are those concerning their interests, mobility and quality. All this has an impact on modernization of the peasants as a social class. The peasants’ interests serve as the foundation of modernization, while mobility yields new qualities that motivate the peasants to undergo reform. At the same time, spread of education is a sure means of improving quality of the peasants as a whole.
