Abstract: The thought of people's democracy is an important part of the Marxist theoretical system and an important aspect of the study and practice of Marxism by the Chinese Communists in the New Era. Marxist thinking about people's democracy combines the study of democracy with the completeemancipation of mankind, and profoundly reveals the nature, purpose, and scope of democracy throughclass analysis methods; on the other hand, through the analysis of “natural sciencelike” the method profoundly reveals the development law and means of realization of democracy. The dual dimensions of value and truth of “class democracy” and “substantial democracy” together constitute the theoretical connotation of Marxist people's democratic thought, and highlight the theoretical characteristics of the unity of Marxist thought of people and science. Since the reform and opening up, through the “three unification” of political development path selection and the system construction of the people's ownership, the socialist political construction with Chinese characteristics has continuously promoted the most extensive, true, and effective people's democracy in terms of institutional structure and institutional arrangements. This is the practical form of Marxist people's democratic thought. The political construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the New Era should continue to consistently draw wisdom and strength from the Marxist people's democracy thought and make contributions to the progress of human political civilization with Chinese wisdom.

摘要： 人民民主思想是马克思主义理论体系的重要组成部分，也是新时代中国共产党人学习和实践马克思主义的重要方面。马克思主义关于人民民主的思想一方面把对民主的研究与人类的彻底解放相结合，通过阶级分析方法深刻地揭示了民主的本质、目的和适用范围；另一方面通过“类自然科学”的分析方法深刻地揭示了民主的发展规律和实现手段。“阶级民主”与“实质民主”从价值和真理的双重维度共同构成了马克思主义人民民主思想的理论内涵，彰显了马克思主义人民性与科学性相统一的理论特征。改革开放以来，通过“三统一”的政治发展道路选择和人民当家作主的制度体系建构，中国特色社会主义政治建设在制度结构和制度安排上不断推动最广泛、最真实、最有效的人民民主的具体实现，是马克思主义人民民主思想的实践形态。新时代中国特色社会主义政治建设应该继续坚持不断从马克思主义人民民主思想中汲取智慧和力量，为人类政治文明进步作出充满中国智慧的贡献。
