Abstract: The authors hold that the ideological and political courses at the tertiary level can play an important role in the process of constructing socialist harmonious society.The courses can offer education of the right world outlook,values of life,in-depth enlightenment of national spirits,and norms for admirable moral conduct of citizens.All this is expected to contribute to establishing a solid ideological foundation for the socialist harmonious society,provide spiritual incentives,and cultivate excellent moral models.

摘要： 一个社会是否和谐,一个国家能否实现长治久安,很大程度上取决于全体社会成员整体思想道德素质的水平。没有共同的理想信念,没有良好的思想道德规范,是无法实现全社会的和谐的。高校思想政治理论课在建设社会主义和谐社会的进程中,对大学生进行正确的世界观、人生观和价值观教育,深入进行民族精神教育,深入进行公民道德规范教育,有助于为建设社会主义和谐社会打牢思想基础、提供精神动力和培养优良道德风尚。
