Abstract: This article holds that precise judgment of the world setup should rest on scientific proofs. Based on the law of technological and economic development, changes in competition among big powers, new disintegration and combination of different forces as well as themes of the time, the author believes, a multi-polar tendency of the world setup is in progress. The author maintains that the ideas that the multi polar tendency has been “broken up", the single polar means “one super power", and that the world is moving towards a “non polarized" setup are not well grounded or convincing enough. Multi polarization will be a long and complicated process, but it is inevitable.

摘要： 本文认为要准确判断世界格局的发展趋势,必须有科学依据,从科技与经济发展的规律和特点、大国实力对比的变化、世界各种力量的新的分化组合以及时代的主题等因素判断,世界多极化趋势在继续发展。多极化被单极化所 阻断"、 耗散",单极等于 一超伴X强",世界向 非极化 "、 无极化"方向发展等说法,缺乏令人信服的依据。应当看到,多极化格局的最终形成将是一个充满复杂斗争的长期过程,但这一历史方向不可逆转。
