Abstract: A scientific grasp of “adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times” is an important basis for an accurate understanding of “Marxism works when it is adapted to the Chinese context and the needs of the times”. The centuryold history of the Communist Party of China fully embodies the combination of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and to the needs of the times, and illustrates the distinctive characteristics and rich connotations of the times with innovative achievements of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context. Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is closely related to the issues of the times, and has opened up a new frontier of theoretical innovation and construction in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times while marking the new historic step in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context. The reason why Marxism works when it is adapted to the Chinese context and the needs of the times lies in that the Communist Party of China creatively gains a good command of the worldview and methodology of Marxism to understand and solve China's development problems. Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era makes good use of Marxist stances, viewpoints and methods to observe, understand, and shape the world. In the analysis of issues related to China and those to the world, the worldview and methodology of Marxism being adapted to the Chinese context and the needs of the times have been formed, which demonstrates the true essence of “adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times”.

摘要： 科学把握马克思主义中国化时代化，是准确理解“中国化时代化的马克思主义行”的重要基础。中国共产党百年奋斗的历史，充分体现了时代化与马克思主义中国化的结合，说明了马克思主义中国化创新性成果的鲜明时代特征和丰富时代内涵。习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想紧扣时代课题，在推进马克思主义中国化的新飞跃中，开辟了马克思主义中国化时代化理论创新和理论创造的新境界。中国化时代化马克思主义之所以行，根本就在于我们党创造性地运用马克思主义世界观、方法论认识和解决中国发展问题。习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想创造性地运用马克思主义的立场、观点、方法，观察世界、认识世界、改造世界，在对中国和世界问题的分析中，形成了中国化时代化马克思主义的世界观和方法论，彰显了“中国化时代化马克思主义行”的真谛。
