Abstract: This paper starts with tracing the historical logic of the modernization of the human society to further explore the forming logic of the new generation of the eraWe believe that they are the new socialists in the new eraCultivating the new generation is the inheritance and innovation of the mission to nurture newcomers to socialism along with the phased advancement of the socialist modernization in ChinaBeing able to take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation is the fundamental requirement for the new generation of the eraOn this basis, specific and multidimensional requirements are derived, which constitute the core competencies of the new generationDuring the process, we should pay special attention to the system construction, implementing the “Middle and Longterm Youth Development Plan (2016—2025)”, empowering the youth through selfeducation, and providing them with the favorable institutional environment to carry out innovation and prevent failure

摘要： 本文选择从人类社会现代化的历史逻辑入手进一步探讨时代新人的历史生成性，认为时代新人是新时代的社会主义新人，培养时代新人是随着我国社会主义现代化事业的阶段性推进，对培养社会主义新人这一育人目标的守正创新。能够担当民族复兴大任是时代新人的本质规定性，由这一本质规定性衍生出多维的具体规定性，构成时代新人的核心能力目录。我们在培育时代新人的过程中要特别注意制度建设，落实好《中长期青年发展规划(2016—2025年)》，激发青年自我教育、努力成为时代新人的内生动力，并为青年提供能力运行、进行创造性活动所必要的制度环境，避免能力失败的问题。
