Abstract: What kind of international order is to be established has always been the concern of the world. After the end of the Cold War various opinions about the new order have been voiced and China, too, has gradually developed her own view of new world order, and has won the support of a majority of countries. The author explains that the international law, which functions as the law among different countries, is so important that its position in dealing with international relations cannot be underestimated. For this reason establishment of a new world order should be in line with the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and other commonly recognized rules. The author points out that advocating and establishing a new world order conforms to the interest of the Chinese people. So, China should stick to her policies accordingly and reinforce studies of relevant issues.
