Abstract: Xi Jinping's important propositions on agricultural development are a shining example of the “Second Integration”. As an important component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the latest achievement in the development of Marxist economics of the 21st century, these propositions provide systemic responses to the challenges facing Chinas agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in the new era and set out strategies for their development, and they have guided a series of economic practices in the agricultural and rural spheres in the new era. These propositions not only inherit the fundamental stance, viewpoints, and methods of Marxism, but also resonate intrinsically with the philosophy of agriculture as the foundation, the wisdom of food governance, the strategies of grain governance, and the practice of land governance embodied in Chinas fine traditional agricultural economic thought. Through absorption, transformation, and inheritance, they achieve the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional intellectual resources into modern governance capacity, thereby demonstrating the organic unity of theoretical consciousness, cultural confidence, and practical application. Taking as its core the independent economic knowledge formed in the practice of China's agricultural economic development, and adopting a systemic perspective that integrates food, grain, land, and ecology, this paper explores how Xi Jinping's important propositions on agricultural development inherit and carry forward China's agricultural economic thought, generate development and innovation at the margin, and thus offer a Chinese solution for global agricultural development.
