Abstract: Promoting the coordinated innovation of cultural practice and cultural theory is a practical requirement for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and an inherent need for building and elevating philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. Since the new era, the Communist Party of China has led the people in comprehensively advancing cultural development and cultural undertakings in both practical development and theoretical innovation, achieving remarkable performance and playing a key role. Cultural practice in the new era takes developing a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics for the new era as its fundamental task, is grounded in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and is fully implemented in pursuing the Chinese path to modernization. Cultural theory in the new era encapsulates the essence of cultural experience, thinking, and concepts, and is concentrated, refined, and sublimated in Xi Jinping Thought on Culture. With its broad vision, profound thinking, and systematic understanding, Xi Jinping Thought on Culture stands as the most signature innovative achievement of contemporary Chinese cultural theory. Cultural practice and cultural theory in the new era are dialectically unified and advance in tandem, guiding the dynamic development of building China into a country with a strong socialist culture.
