Abstract: The current dominant model of international aid is led by the west countries, which is gradually formed after the Second World War As a developing country, China has been actively involved in affairs of foreign aid But Chinas voice in current international affairs is obviously insufficient Because of the distinct differences between China and the west in the fields of philosophy, paradigm, policy of aid, Chinas foreign aid has been criticized and accused by Western countries and the media To further enhance Chinas voice in international aid affairs, China should actively participate in international aid affairs, strive to play a more important role in the international multilateral aid agencies, strengthen their advocacy of aid to create a good domestic and international public opinion environment for the foreign aid; improve foreign aid philosophy, policies and mechanisms to further improve aid effectiveness
