Abstract: Moral imagination is a new trend on the basis of the full development of the studies on virtue ethics and normative ethics On the basis of revealing the existence of value of moral imagination, this paper has streamed up the najor progress of moral imagination research in recent years from the dimensions of epistemology, methodology and axiology, and points out the existing problems The future study of moral imagination should focus on the concept of concise and theoretical system construction, focus on the moral imagination practice value to carry out a wide range of empirical research on the influence factors of moral imagination, pay attention to the differences of moral imagination among different technical personnel Meanwhile, we should creatively transform the thought resources of traditional Chinese moral imaginations
