摘要： 《新中国人口五十年》从人口的方方面面反映了新中国成立以来党的路线和各项方针政策的成效、利害得失,是对我国治国安邦和执政能力经验教训的一个总结,同时对我们深刻认识中国国情、全面建设小康社会也具有很好的借鉴意义。

Abstract: The book analyzes various aspects of the achievements and failures of the Party’s policies concerning the issue of population since the founding of new China.It can be seen as a summary of the Party’s capacity in administration and governing of the country.
