摘要： 合业经营与分业经营是世界上银行业采用的两种不同的经营模式,我国目前采用的是分业经营模式。由于合业经营是世界银行业改革的主要方向,并且我国面临加入WTO的挑战,有关入世可能影响我国银行制度的论断由此而起。而本文认为,由于《服务贸易总协定》(GATS)中国民待遇的特殊性,入世对银行制度的冲击是非本质的,真正影响银行制度选择的因素在于我国经济的发展和各方面改革的深化。

Abstract: Joint operation and separate operation are two models of banking system in the world. At present, we are adopting the model of separate operation in China. As joint operation is the orientation of the banking reform in the world, the question that whether China's banking system will be affected by her entry into WTO has arisen. The author holds that in the light of the specific features of national treatment clauses in GATS, the impact of entry into WTO on our banking system is not an essential one. On the contrary, what really matters in choosing the banking system lies in our actual economic development and further progress in reform.
