The construction of Chinese economics must follow the inherent laws of the evolution of economics. Based on this theoretical observation of over 2000 years of history of economic thought, it is found that the evolution of economics manifests as competitive interactions among different schools and doctrines, exhibiting a cyclical pattern of “stability breeding instability”. This process carries distinct national characteristics and diversity, reflecting synchrony and aggregation with a nations rise and fall. However, driven by specialization, technicalization, and internationalization, it tends to develop into a universal, homogeneous, and inert system. Drawing lessons from history, the current rise of Chinese economics faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges. China should seize historical opportunities to accelerate the coordinated construction of its economics system, and address current challenges by focusing on issues and practices during the pursuit of the Chinese path to modernization, advancing from a pluralistic paradigm in economics, and implementing institutional reforms that serve the goal of building an independent knowledge system.

There are interactive relationships between changes in social class structure and ideological and political education. On one hand, the changes in social class structure provide a macro social background for ideological and political education, shaping the object and internal structure of ideological and political education; on the other hand, ideological and political education actively affects the changes in social class structure and plays an important role in guiding the values of different social groups. Since the founding of the Peoples Republic of China, the social class structure has undergone major changes. Ideological and political education has kept in alignment with and served the central tasks of the Party and the country, conformed to the trend of changes in class composition, paid attention to social ideological issues, and accumulated rich experience in the process of responding to the changes in social class structure. In the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an allround way, China has been in a critical period for the formation of an ideal social class structure. In view of the trend of differentiation in social spatial structure and under the complex situation in the field of social ideology, promoting the formation of an ideal social class structure and building ideological consensus among members of different class groups have become new tasks and challenges for ideological and political education. To this end, ideological and political education should deeply embed its functional values into the formation process of the ideal social class structure, realize extensive coverage on a categorized basis in the reshaping of the social spatial pattern, and achieve integrated innovation of the internal structure in the precise response to the evolution of social values.

The elaboration of the concept of society has always occupied the central position in understanding historical materialism. Its importance is reflected in the exposition of historical materialism on the ontological revolution of “social existence”. Grasping the basic connotation of this concept is an intrinsic requirement for understanding historical materialism. The traditional interpretation follows two pathways: first, it understands society as a structural network based on the “relationship”; second, it starts from the reciprocal relation between nature and society to understand the connotation of social historical materialism in the way that they mediate each other. The two pathways focus on Marxs thoughts in his early and mature years respectively. However, to properly understand Marxs concept of society, it is necessary not only to recur to Hegels social theory, but also to carry out the basic integration of Marxs thoughts at different stages, so as to provide the clear presentation of the concept of society.

Hyman Minsky is inextricably linked to Karl Marx, both in terms of their family origins and academic backgrounds. However, what is baffling is that Minsky rarely cited and referred to Marx's works. This comparative study reveals that although Minsky and Marx have many commonalities and similarities in their economic visions and methodological frameworks, especially concerning that they both find the essential defect of endogenous instability of the capitalist economy from its process of capital accumulation, they diverge on the understanding of finance, and thus on the judgment and analysis of the specific causes of the instability and crisis. Perhaps it is these differences that lead to the misunderstanding of Marx by Minsky, who mistakenly believes that Marx regards finance as the external “manifestation” of the “essence” of real economy and thus ignores him. Some Marxists also misunderstand Minsky, mistakenly conceiving that Minsky's “financial instability hypothesis” is just a pure theory of finance on the dynamics of capitalist instability, and therefore dismiss him. However, in fact, the differences between the two can be reconciled and complemented. Understanding the instability of capitalism requires an organic combination of both of their conceptions on real economy and finance, and the absorption and development of Minskys ideas about finance and financialization within the theoretical framework of Marx.

As an academic market behavior or academic marketization trend,“academic capitalism” is driven by globalization and the knowledge economy. And it is an irreversible trend of the modern enlightenment. The book Dialectic of Enlightenment describes the arrogation of instrumental rationality to humanistic spirit caused by enlightenment, leading to the retrogression of enlightenment consciousness or “enlightenment paradox”. Dialectic of Enlightenment provides a novel perspective for understanding “academic capitalism”. And similar to Dialectic of Enlightenment, the paradox is also built in “academic capitalism” due to the erosion of instrumental rationality embodied in the logic of capital to academic value rationality. However,we still need to maintain a reflective attitude towards the perspective in Dialectic of Enlightenment.

International public opinion is an integral part and an influencing factor of national image, an important strategic resource for a nation to obtain international discourse power, and also a key field to struggle for power. It is crucial to the development of a nation. After the global financial crisis in 2008, as China's comprehensive national power and international influence have continued to rise, western public opinion on China tends to be negative as SinoUS strategic competition continues to intensify, embodied in three stages: suspicion, vigilance and attack. The evolution of Chinarelated public opinion has the following characteristics: politicians gradually replaced academia as the main body guiding public opinion; the area of concern has changed from economyoriented to securityoriented area; stigmatizing China has become the main strategy; the emotional intensity of Chinarelated reports has gradually escalated. China is facing the challenge of deteriorating environment of international public opinion. In the light of these situations, China should be deeply aware of the importance and necessity of striving for international discourse power, and should take wise strategies and effective actions to realize its development. In order to improve China international public opinion environment, we must adhere to the bottomline thinking; divide the Western camp in a targeted way; cultivate international media with extensive influence; exert the subjective initiative of agenda setting; and mentor highlevel compound foreign affairs talents.

Labor relations in Germany have met severe challenges ever since the start of 1990s. The major cause for this is the tremendous changes in the German political and economic situation and the international environment in the past 20 years. The problems of high unemployment rate and low economic growth that have continued for years resulted in intensified labor relations. As a consequence, the group negotiation system of the laborers, the capitalists and the government as well as that of the occupation levels are also challenged and obliged to change. The author holds that studies of the changes in the German labor relation system will shed light on similar changes and development ocurring in other countries in the new situation with profound references.

Recognition of social problems during the early period of the People's Republic of China was heavily influenced by polit ics.It was believed that social problems were the consequences of the old social system, and that no social problem could possibly arise in a socialist society. This idea is reflected in ways of handling social problems in which solutions to social problems were directly associated with the magnificent goal of building up socialism. Thus, social problems were examined under circumstances of transformation of the social systems then.

Changes in social custom between the years 1949 and 1956, the early period of the People’s Republic of China, were started by the background of revolution in the social system and social life, and were reflected in the great social changes. Compared with changes of social custom in the previous period, that is, before the founding of the People’s Republish of China, changes during this period were marked by characteristics of the time in terms of the dimension, the method and the motivation. In fact, these are "planned" social changes, not a "natural" reform.
