The growing scale of international population flows has prompted international migration to transform from a marginal policy field to a mainstream issue closely related to politics, economy and society. Due to the obsolescence of concepts, the politicization of ethnic issues, the security of immigration issues and other factors, the current governance field is facing a series of difficulties and there has been a certain degree of practical turn. In order to promote global migration governance towards good governance, reforms should be the guide, global migration governance should be improved, and a multilevel organic multilateral governance mechanism combining bilateral governance, regional multilateral governance, and global multilateral governance of participating countries should be balanced to reflect most countries. The willingness and interests of international migrants continue to adapt to the new changes in the crossborder migration pattern of international migrants, support the improvement of the multilateral system, and promote common development.
