Abstract: Japanese scholars have dedicated over a century to studying the manuscripts related to Capital, making significant theoretical contributions. In recent years, their innovative explorations on the MEGA edition of Capital have distinguished them globally, characterized by deepening theoretical insights through textual analysis and directly addressing modern capitalist economic issues, particularly systemic capitalist economic crises, thereby providing new materials and perspectives for contemporary capitalist studies. In response to academic debates on the relationship between money capital and economic crises under the framework of the standard threevolume Capital, scholars such as Teinosuke tani and Korefumi Miyata have utilized the MEGA edition to examine overproduction crises through the lens of the process of social reproduction, the law of the tendency of the average rate of profit to fall, and the movement of credit and fictitious capital. Their work reveals the root causes of capitalist economic crises through “analysis of internal contradictions”, “purification hypothesis”, and “dialectical equilibrium analysis”, while also exposing the essence of capitalist production through the characteristics of surplus value generation in the digital age. Japanese scholars emphasize the significance of the study on the MEGA edition by integrating intellectual history and reflections on Japans “Lost Three Decades” of economic stagnation. However, their research on capitalist economic crises exhibits theoretical limitations, such as the recognitions of theories for the ownership of means of production and the relationship between the law of the profit rate and economic growth theories, which remain subject to scholarly debate.

摘要： 日本学者对于《资本论》相关手稿的研究已经走过百余年的历程，作出了很大的理论贡献。特别是，近年来日本学者围绕MEGA版《资本论》的新探索，在世界范围内独树一帜，其主要特色是从文本研读中深化一系列理论认识，直面现代资本主义经济问题、剖析资本主义系统性经济危机，为当代资本主义经济研究提供重要的新材料与新思路。针对学界围绕现行3卷本《资本论》研究对货币资本与经济危机之间关系的认识，大谷祯之介、宫田惟史等日本学者基于MEGA版《资本论》从社会再生产过程、平均利润率下降规律以及信用和虚拟资本的运动来考察生产过剩危机，并从“内在矛盾分析”“纯粹化假设”“辩证均衡分析”来揭示资本主义经济危机的根源，从数字时代剩余价值生产的特点揭示资本主义生产的本质。日本学者坚持从经济思想史和“失去的30年”的经济史反思中发掘MEGA版《资本论》研究的重要性。当然，他们对资本主义经济危机的相关研究也凸显出一些理论局限性，如，对生产资料所有制理论的认识、对利润率规律与经济增长理论的认识等，存在值得商榷之处。
