Abstract: Marxism is the fundamental guiding ideology for Party and state building, and the soul and banner of the Communist Party of China. And the philosophy, values, humanistic spirit and moral norms in the splendid traditional Chinese culture are very valuable intellectual resources. Combining the basic principles of Marxism and the splendid traditional Chinese culture is a necessity for upholding and developing Marxism, which can provide cultural resources to develop Marxism in contemporary China and in the 21st century. It is a necessity for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, because it can provide rich nutrients for expanding the socialist path with Chinese characteristics, facilitating the sinicization of Marxism, improving and developing the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, and promoting the prosperity of the socialist culture. It is also a necessity for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, for it can provide a cultural foundation for creating new forms of human civilization.

摘要： 马克思主义是我们立党立国的根本指导思想，是党的灵魂和旗帜，中华优秀传统文化中的哲学思想、价值理念、人文精神、道德规范是十分宝贵的思想资源。坚持马克思主义基本原理同中华优秀传统文化相结合，是坚持和发展马克思主义的必然要求，能为发展当代中国马克思主义、21世纪马克思主义提供文化资源；是坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的必然要求，能为拓展中国特色社会主义道路、推进马克思主义中国化、坚持完善和发展中国特色社会主义制度、推动社会主义文化繁荣兴盛提供丰厚滋养；是实现中华民族伟大复兴的必然要求，能为创造人类文明新形态提供文化沃土。
