Abstract: InternationalStudiesinIndiaoriginatedearlybuthasnotbeenfullydeveloped.UniversitiesandThinkTanksarethemainbodiesengagedinthestudyofinternationalrelations, andthink tanksaremoreactivethanuniversities.InternationalStudiesinIndiaaremostlybasedonthereality andlackoftheoreticalconstruction.Kautilyasinternationalthought,thenonviolentthoughtinHinduismandnon- alignedcameupwithbyNehruaretheheritagesinIndiasinternationalstudies.However, Indianscholarspaymoreattentiontotherealitiesofinternationalrelationsbutnotthethoughts. Thereisnoobviousdistinctionbetweeninternationalstudies,regionalandcountrystudiesinIndia. IndianScholarsaremoreinterestedinglobalgovernancestudiesatthegloballevel,especiallythe BRICSStudy,andmainlyfocusonSouthAsiastudiesattheregionallevel,whiletheyareincreasingly interestedinChinastudiesatthecountrylevel.Indianscholarshavebeguntorethinktheinternational studiesandexpecttopromoteIndiascontributiontotheknowledgegrowthoftheinternationalrelations.

摘要: 印度国际关系研究起源较早但发展并不充分,高校与智库是从事国际关系研究的主体,智库比高校更为活跃。印度国际关系研究大都基于现实导向而缺乏理论建构,考底利耶的国际体系思想、印度教的非暴力思想、尼赫鲁的不结盟主义是其理论遗产,但并未受到印度学者的充分重视。在印度,国际关系研究与地区国别研究并没有明显区分,学者们较为青睐在全球层面对全球治理尤其是金砖机制的研究,在地区层面主要关注南亚研究,在国别层面愈加热衷于中国研究。印度学者已经开始反思国际关系研究,并期望为国际关系学科的知识增长做出应有的贡献。
