Abstract: Hu Hua devoted all his life to the research and teaching of CPC history and made important contributions on the discipline construction, scientific research, teaching and the cultivation of talents. He paid special attention to play the educational function of CPC history and other subjects of Marxism theory. He emphasizes the extreme importance of Marxist theory, the history of the CPC and history of  Chinese revolution and called for strengthening and improving ideological and political theory courses. He also demonstrated a profound understanding of the courses of CPC history, Chinese revolutionary history and other ideological and political theory courses. To further strengthen and improve the education of ideological and political theory course in higher education today, we can get many inspirations from the reflection of Hu Hua in his time.

摘要： 胡华毕生致力于中国革命史、中国共产党历史研究和教学，在学科建设、科学研究、教学与人才培养等方面均作出了重要贡献。他特别重视发挥包括中共党史学科在内的马克思主义理论相关学科的育人功能，强调讲授马克思主义理论、中共党史、中国革命史的极端重要性，呼吁加强和改进高校思想政治理论课的教学，并对包括中共党史、中国革命史在内的思想政治理论课教学提出了不少深刻见解。在进一步加强和改进高校思想政治理论课教育的今天，或许我们能够从胡华当年的思考中获得诸多启迪。
