Abstract: The paper defines Marxism from the perspectives of its scientific connotation,internal structure,basic characters,theoretical quality and social ideals.The paper also discusses the proper attitude towards Marxism.It holds that Marxism functions as guidelines for action instead of merely being doctrines.Marxism has been continuo usly developing in the course of practice,and it should be further enriched under the new historical situation.

摘要： 如何对待马克思主义,是把它当作教条还是当作行动的指南,这是对待马克思主义的两种根本不同的态度,马克思主义的创始人和后继者都坚决反对任何以教条主义的态度对待马克思主义的做法。早在1843年,当马克思还处在由革命民主主义者向共产主义者、由唯心主义者向唯物主义者转变的时期就明确宣布:新思潮的优点就恰恰在于我们不想教条式地预料未来,而只是希望在批判旧世界中发现新世界。
