A Review of Studies of International Relations in Italy

Abstract

Abstract: In the research field of modern international relations whose discourse right dominated by the United States and Great Britain,there lacks typically excellent works which are worldwide influential in Italian IR study.The level of academic development which takes a minor,subordinate and marginal position on the whole does not match the realistic power of the country.Based on investigating IR research tradition and discipline establishment in Italy,the article elaborates on theoretical tendencies,main themes,remarkable characteristics,as well as advantages and disadvantages which affect its development of Italian IR study.

摘要： 在由美英主导话语权的当代国际关系研究领域,意大利的国际关系研究缺乏具有世界影响的代表性佳作,学科发展水平与其现实国力很不相称,总体上处于次要、从属甚至边缘的地位。本文在考察意大利国际关系研究传统与学科建立的基础上,阐析了意大利国际关系研究的理论倾向、主要议题、显著特点以及影响其发展的有利条件和不利因素。
