Abstract: The author maintains that after the cold war the tendency of co-existence in world economy is on the rise, and the role economic aspect plays in international affairs becomes increasingly important. However, the author points out, there is one serious defect in research in international relation in China and in development of international relation as a discipline, that is, a lack of multi-academic background of the researchers and limited means of research. Therefore, the author suggests, it is of significance that researchers in this area be equipped with additional academic background of economics and political science.

摘要： 冷战结束后,世界经济相互依存的趋势日趋加强,经济因素在国际关系中的地位与冷战时期相比显得越来越重要.然而,当前我国国际关系研究以及国际关系学科发展中却存在一种重要的缺失——研究人员的学科背景和分析手段相对单一.本文旨在强调国际关系研究中同时具备政治学学科背景和经济学学科背景的重要意义.
