Abstract: The global expansion of capital served as a “precursor” to the formation of world history. The diversity and selectivity of modernization paths among nationstates are preconditioned by the existence of world history. The emergence of world history has transformed the realization patterns of historical laws, constituting the historical premise and cultural context for the formation and development of the Chinese path to modernization. From the perspective of world history, Chinas exploration and establishment of its modernization have traversed developmental stages of being drawn into, adapting to, integrating with, and ultimately leading world history. This process has been consistently characterized by the spatiotemporal coexistence, competition, contestation, and mutual learning between socialist and capitalist modernization, accompanied by the evolving status and role of China within the international system. The achievements of the Chinese path to modernization have elevated global modernization standards, expanded approaches for developing countries to achieve modernization, and propelled the renewal of world historical forms along with the evolution of global historical configurations, bearing significant world historical implications.

摘要： 资本的全球扩张是推动世界历史形成的“先驱”。各民族国家现代化道路的多样性和选择性以世界历史的存在为前提条件。世界历史的出现改变了历史规律的实现方式，是中国式现代化道路形成和发展的历史前提和文化背景。从世界历史视角来看，中国的现代化的探索和确立经历了被卷入世界历史、顺应世界历史、融入世界历史、引领世界历史的发展历程，这一历程始终贯穿着社会主义与资本主义现代化的同时空共存、竞争、较量、互鉴，同时伴随着中国在国际体系中的地位和作用的变化。中国式现代化道路取得的发展成就提升了整个世界的现代化水平，拓展了发展中国家走向现代化的途径，推动了世界历史样态的更新和世界历史格局的演变，具有重要世界历史意义。
