Abstract: The construction of the discipline of the history of the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) has encountered problems such as the complicated establishment process and the unclear properties, which have directly affected the highquality development of the discipline. The establishment of the discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building has opened up possibilities for accelerating the construction of discipline of the history of the PRC. The establishment of the history of the PRC as a secondary discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building is a complementary and mutually beneficial event that enables mutual success for both disciplines. The discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building provides fundamental ideological and methodological guidance and important academic support for the development of the discipline of the history of the PRC, while the discipline of the history of the PRC better consolidates the historical foundation and research field for the development of the discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building. Standing at a new historical starting point of the new era and new journey, to build up the history of the PRC as a secondary discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building, we should insist on taking the primary discipline of the Chinese Communist Party history and Party building as the guidance, and making efforts in two major directions, ie. the research content and academic establishment.

摘要： 中华人民共和国史学科建设遇到了学科建制复杂、学科属性不明确等问题，直接影响到中华人民共和国史学科的高质量发展。中共党史党建学的设立，为加快推进中华人民共和国史的学科建设开辟了另一条通道。中华人民共和国史设置为中共党史党建学的二级学科，对于中华人民共和国史学科和中共党史党建学来说是相互作用、相互成就、相得益彰的事情。中共党史党建学，为中华人民共和国史学科发展提供根本的思想方法论指导和重要的学术支撑；中华人民共和国史，较好地夯实了中共党史党建学发展的历史基础和研究领域。处在新时代新征程的历史起点上，中华人民共和国史设置为中共党史党建学的二级学科，要坚持以中共党史党建学一级学科为统领，从研究内容和学术建制两个大的方向着力。
