Abstract: The important statement that “fundamentally it is because Marxism works” expresses an evaluation of Marxism，touches upon its essence and attributes，and involves the behaviors and practice of the Communist Party of China It is about the evaluation，substance，and agent of Marxism，respectively，which are interconnected links in a chain They reveal Marxism from within，first as an object，and then as a dominant force They also explain why Marxism may work and why it does work In this way，the logics of why Marxism works are mapped The evaluation that Marxism works is a summarization and conclusion；the substance of Marxism is the internal fundamental foundation for Marxism to work；and the agent is a crucial factor which determines that Marxism works The three aspects jointly interpret the essence of the statement that “fundamentally it is because Marxism works”.

摘要： “归根到底是因为马克思主义行”这一重要论断，既是一种称谓表达与价值评判，又触及马克思主义的本质内涵与品质特征，还关涉中国共产党的主体作为与践行方式，分别构成马克思主义“行”之谓、“行”之实、“行”之倚。从“行”之谓到“行”之实，从“行”之实到“行”之倚，如一个链条那样相互衔接，将马克思主义由内至外、由对象性存在到主导性力量，由可以“行”到能够“行”、由“行”之根据到“行”之实现，一一展示出来，构成一幅马克思主义“行”的逻辑运行图景。“行”之谓是总结性概括、提炼性结论，“行”之实是内在性根据、根本性支撑，“行”之倚是关键性因素、决定性环节，三个层面共同诠释了“归根到底是因为马克思主义行”的要义与真谛。
