Abstract: since the reform and opening up, the memorial of victory of the AntiJapanese War has played an important role in the inheritance of national humiliation memory, memory of struggle, memory of peace; mobilizing the whole people to participate in the socialist construction, to join the cause of reform, opening up and the great dream of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; shaping the national image, emphasizing Chinas contribution in the world anti fascist war; demonstrating that the Chinese Communist Party is the mainstay of the war of resistance against Japan; coordinating the relationship between the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, the relations between Communist Party and Kuomintang Party etc. The social functions of the memorial of victory of the AntiJapanese War have been fully demonstrated.

摘要： 改革开放后，抗战胜利纪念在传承国耻记忆、奋争记忆、和平记忆等历史记忆；进行政治动员，动员全国人民参与社会主义建设、投身改革开放事业、献力中华民族伟大复兴梦想；塑造国家形象，强调中国对世界反法西斯战争的贡献、中国共产党是抗日战争的中流砥柱、抗日战争形成的伟大精神财富；协调各方关系，中国与世界、大陆与港澳台、共产党与国民党的关系等方面发挥了重要的作用，抗战胜利纪念的社会功能得以彰显。
