Abstract: This paper explores the evolution of human civilization since the industrial revolution by referring to the relation of civilization and the mode of material production.The author analyzes the complicated bottle-neck problem of environmental pollution and shortage of natural resources,and suggests strategies of constructing ecologic civilization.The principles of drawing experience from developed countries on industrialization,and information technology are recommended,large-scale development of research laboratories of ecologic industry is advocated,and the dialectic materialist principle that every conclusion should be reached on the basis of experimental evidence is emphasized

摘要： 本文从文明与物质生产方式相互联系的角度,考察工业革命以来人类文明的变迁;分析中国发展面临的环境污染与资源匮乏的"瓶颈"效应;提出建设生态文明的战略措施:要大力建设生态县、生态市、生态省,特别是要借鉴发达国家工业化与信息化的成功经验,发展一批生态产业研究实验基地。
