Abstract: The Silk Road civilization is one of the most significant achievements in the history of world civilization made by the Chinese nation through friendly exchanges with various nationalities and ethnic groups in the world. As the spiritual core of the Silk Road civilization, the Silk Road spirit is a great heritage of Chinese civilization and human civilization, which has logical implications for cultivating the new form of human civilization in four aspects: peace and cooperation are the prerequisite and foundation for the harmonious coexistence of all civilizations; openness and inclusiveness are fundamental ways to follow the prevailing trend of history and civilization; mutual learning is the source of vitality to stimulate the integration and innovation of diverse civilizations; and mutual benefit is the common pursuit of all countries to jointly create and share achievements. Inheriting and carrying forward the Silk Road spirit under the new historical conditions will help to release the potential for the innovation and creation of forms of civilization, highlight the world significance and universality of the creation of new forms of human civilization, provide Chinese wisdom and solutions for universal challenges and global issues, and establish spiritual connections and offer ideological guidance for building a community with shared future for mankind.
