Abstract:

Marcuse is known for his sensibility philosophy and liberation of erotic desire. He combined Marxism with Freudism and tried to construct a social critical theory
with the purpose of liberating life instinct. On the one hand, he redepicted Marxs vision of human liberation according to Freuds theory of eroticism. On the other hand, he transformed Freuds theory of repressive civilization according to Marxs theory of alienation. In the perceptual philosophical system constructed by it, the goal of “human liberation” is to promote the “nonrepressive sublimation” of eroticism, and finally make the “nonrepressive mode of existence” truly become a social reality. Human liberation is not only the liberation of the economy and politics, but also the complete liberation of life and erotic desire. This liberation is premised on the promotion and shaping of the new sensibility of human beings, and is therefore an artistic liberation road of liberation. Starting from social critique, Marcuses perceptual philosophy and its liberation logic have opened a dose of aesthetic salvation prescription for eliminating the alienation of modern industrial civilization.
