摘要： 如何认定国外思想政治教育之“名”是思想政治教育比较研究亟待解决的重要问题。从概念而非名称的角度来看，美国事实上存在着公民教育、道德教育、品格教育三种既相互联系又各有侧重的思想政治教育之“名”。合理运用美国思想政治教育之“名”，应坚定理论自信、增强学科自觉、把握概念差异。

Abstract: How to confirm the “names” of ideological and political education in foreign countries is extremely urgent and important to conduct comparative study of ideological and political education. In the perspective of academic concept rather than proper noun, the terms of citizenship or civic education, moral education and character education broadly used in United States actually are the “names” of ideological and political education. To correctly apply these terms, we should uphold theoretical confidence, strengthen discipline awareness and identify conceptual difference.
