摘要： 志愿精神是指一种自愿地、不计报酬地参与推动社会进步、促进人类自身全面发展的社会公益事业的精神。我们应结合中国实际,积极学习、借鉴国外志愿服务的优点或长处,从和谐社会的视野深入研究志愿精神,发展我国的志愿服务,创新志愿服务的工作思路和工作手段,逐步完善志愿服务的制度构建和政策保障,使其在构建社会主义和谐社会的过程中发挥更大的作用。

关键词: 和谐社会, 志愿精神, 发展研究

Abstract: The moving stories in the rescue work of Wenchuan earthquake and the bright smiles and excellent services in the Beijing Olympic Games have resulted in a profound understanding of volunteerism.The behaviors of the volunteers have moved China and the world by showing the value of volunteerism.The authors point out that in the course of constructing a harmonious socialist society it is necessary to do in-depth researches of volunteerism to further develop the ideas of and the approach to organizing volunteer work.This may contribute to gradual improvement of our volunteer system and bring the volunteer mechanism to perfection.In this way,volunteerism can be expected to play a more profound role.
