Abstract: Since the end of the Cold War, the G7/G8 has made efforts to propose various measures in order to become a "center of global governance". Now it has become a key organization in the world, inserting influence on such areas as process of globalizat ion,int ernational politics,economy,security,social fields and so on.How ever,given the situation of the world in the recent 27 years since the G7/G8 was founded, its behavior towards world affairs has to be changed.It has to redefine global governance,grantaut hority to the United Nations as a center of global governance,and give up its attitude of super powers in ruling the world.Efforts have to be made to promote and expand participation of various countries in international affairs,so as to really promote democracy and systemization of international relationship.Only in this way can the G7/G8 attain further development.
