Abstract: The self-reform discourse of the Communist Party of China (CPC) does not spring fullyformed into existence, but has a profound generative logic, among which the Marxist revolutionary theory is the theoretical logic, and the practical history of the CPCs selfreform and the corresponding discourse system of Party building are the historical logic, the practice of Party building in the new era is the realistic logic of the generation of the selfreform discourse. The selfreform discourse system of the CPC adheres to the principle of putting people above anything else, with the overall goal of building a Marxist political party that maintains longterm governance and escapes the historical cycle of rise and fall, with the main content of conceptual objective discourse, spiritual motivational discourse, strategic leading discourse, constructive discourse, and methodological discourse, and with the practical support of “purifying, improving, reforming, and excelling itself”. The Partys selfreform discourse system is the inheritance and development of Marxist revolutionary theory, which enriches and develops the autonomous body of knowledge and system of the discipline of the Party history and Party building of the CPC. The proposal and practice of the Partys selfreform discourse have opened up a new prospect in developing the new great project of Party building in the new era, and contributed Chinese wisdom to the political parties of all countries in the world to solve the problem in longterm governance.
