Abstract: The study on Marxs thought of Technologie in foreign academia included three periods: first, it was the dogmatic interpretation of former Soviet Union scholars and the humanist interpretation of western Marxists before 1980s. Second, it was the compilation and publication of Marxs literature on Technologie as well as the primary study on them during 1980s and 1990s. Finally, it was theoretical promotion and diverse development of this subject since the beginning of 21st century. On the one hand, these studies provide the important literature support and theoretical perspectives; on the other hand, however, they are lack of a systematic and scientific methodology and logic system. Therefore, with the help of the abroad theoretical sources, to rediscover Marxs thought of Technologie based on the quintessence of contemporary Chinese Marxist philosophy becomes a great and urgent research project.
