Internal Contradictions of Globalization

Globalization is the inevitable result of the dynamic movement of productive mode. While it enhances economic development and social progress, it also gives rise to a series of internal contradictions in economy, politics and culture, and some of them seem impossible to overcome. In a world where capitalism dominates politics, economy and culture, not only the existing basic contradictions are getting intensified, but some insolvable new contradictions have arisen. For instance, contradictions between multinational corporation and national sovereignty, between multinational corporation’s pursuit for profits and various countries’ demand for fairness, between publicity and copy right of knowledge, between homogeneity and heterogeneity of culture, to name only a few. These internal contradictions have paved the way for union of the proletarians all over the world, leading to the social transformation from capitalist society to socialist society.
