Dialectic Thinking: Defining Properties of Marxist Philosophical World Outlook

Marxist philosophy, in essence, attempts to fight against and get rid of any enclosed or ossified philosophical system. It advocates a thinking pattern that is really open and vigorously interacts with the realty and human social practice. This dialectic or theoretical thinking pattern is both demonstrative and speculative based on human activities, a perfect integration of the concrete and the abstract, the experiential and the rational, the logical and the historical. Therefore, it is safe to say that “dialectic thinking” or “theoretical thinking” is the essential character that distinguishes Marxist philosophy from any traditional philosophical world outlook. It is also the key to properly understand scientific methods of basic categories such as “nature” and “communism” from the perspective of Marxist philosophy.
